I was always afraid to go to the dentist, but I was recommended by my grandma to try this dental office out. The staff is so caring and attentive I felt so comfortable here. The doctors here are so nice and give multiple options and care for your wellbeing. I learned that this dental office also takes Medi-Cal and learned from the staff that the doctor want to help out the community so he continues to take Medi-Cal and continues provide high quality dental service to his patients even though many office drop Medi-Cal. You can really see his kind heart and care. Office is clean and parking is great.

My time at Baek Dentistry has been the best dental experience Ive ever had. As someone who grew up in fear of going to the dentist, the doctor and staff made me feel comfortable and safe. I noticed how clean and tidy the office was, along with the fact that I didnt have to wait hours for my turn. The doctor frequently checked up on how I was feeling during my procedure, and paid close attention to any special requests or concerns I had mentioned to him prior; he was attentive and ready to answer questions I had after the procedure. Overall, I would recommend Baek Dentistry to everyone because of the combination of great staff, care of patients time, and transparent communication.

I cannot express enough how frustrating my experience was here at Baek dentistry. Last Wednesday I heard from Dr. BAEK that I needed a crown on my number 14 tooth because the cavity is deep and it is near my root. The manager then called me and told me that they do not do metal crowns and that I would have to get the crown that's not covered by the insurance. The cost will be over $1000. I felt this wasn't right so I visited my old dentist and he told me that I just have a broken filling and I need a new filling. I just have finished getting the procedure and the cost was $0. How awful is that I almost paid over a thousand bucks out of my pocket where I can fix it for no cost and with simpler procedure! Also, the Korean lady who works at the front desk, who I heard is the doctor's mother doesn't know about how insurance works but pretends to know. My family visited this office May of 2023 with straight mediCal plan, DentiCal and all treatment had been covered by it but the doctor's mom called me and said that the office couldn't get the money from the insurance because my insurance wasn't the right kind. So I asked her which insurance I should have to go there and she said she didn't know and I should find out by calling the insurance. I called the customer service numerous times to find which plan I sould get for this office. I switched to Healthnet dental plan and turns out only minors are covered with this plan. I had to switch back to the original Dentical all because the doctor's mom told me the wrong things. I wasted so much time, switching back and forth my dental insurance for nothing. It took me 2months just to switch back and forth because I takes a whole month to switch plans. Even now she does not admit her fault and she always lies. See where the doctor gets the lying skills from.
