California Nursery Specialties Cactus Ranch

This place is a gem for succulent and plant lovers. They are open to the public on Sundays. When you enter, it's like you've been transported to a succulent haven hidden within the hustle and bustle of LA. It feels like the rows of plants go on for miles. There's also cool metal dinosaur sculptures throughout. You can get fully grown and mature succulents and cacti, or you can get little baby ones. The owner is very kind, and he also has a humanitarian heart and has put his business into a trust for the Nature Conservancy. As the owner mentioned in a nice chat, it's a great place to come and decompress and get some "plant therapy."

Couldn't find anyone to help and those that did work there did not want to be bothered. Over priced to for the stuff that actually had prices. 75 percent of stuff doesn't have price tags and with no one to help not sure how business is done .

Thousands of cactus and succulents with hundreds of different types. You park on the street. The paths between the plants are narrow and irregular so not possible for walkers or wheelchairs. Only open on weekends. No credit cards accepted, just cash. I always leave with a few plants I have never seen before.
