So impressed with this school and Miss Allyson. My kid loves swim lessons here and after only a few months is very comfortable in the water, has almost gotten the basics of water safety, and is much closer to being able to swim independently.

Allyson is such a kind and patient swim teacher. I was looking for a swim teacher for safety reasons since we have a pool at our home and wanted to start my daughter as soon as I could. I (nervously) took my daughter at 4 months old and she made me feel so comfortable. My daughter is almost 10 months old now and she can float on her back independently, which was our personal goal until she starts walking!

We had our daughter with Allyson at 4 months old. She cried initially, then she relaxed, stopped crying, learned to float and swim. She is now water safe! Allyson is so experienced, she is hands down the best, especially with babies!

Its every parents worst nightmare imagining their child falling into a pool when they dont know how to swim. We decided we wanted our son to be water safe and start him on lessons when he was just a few months old. We began to do some research, we asked around and Safe Waves Swimming School kept coming up. We were impressed with Allysons qualifications, her 20 plus years of experience, and her private one on one lessons. Unfortunately, COVID hit and we were forced to wait. By the time we took our son to his first lesson, he was 3 years old and quite vocal about wanting nothing to do with swimming. As a parent, your first instinct is to give in and take your child home. Were glad we didnt. Allyson began to work with our son and almost instantly we saw a positive change. Her patience, compassion, and love for both her craft and the children she works with is immediately evident. In less than a year, Allyson transformed our son into a strong and confident swimmer. He has fun, looks forward to his lessons, and to seeing Ms. Allyson. What shes taught and given our child is absolutely priceless.
