      Hello Michelle. We are sorry to hear you didn’t have a positive experience in Ridgecrest. Here at the Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce we work to build community and strengthen the local economy. A few of our members who may be able to address your current needs include the College Community Services/Hope Center, www.ccskern.com or (760) 499-7406 and Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, rrh.org or (760) 446-3551. There is also the Ridgecrest Crisis Stabilization Unit (760) 463-2880 and the Department of Human Services (760) 499-5200 who can provide resources. Of course, in case of emergency, please call 911 or talk, text, or chat 988 for the suicide and crisis lifeline.You are correct that we do not have a local shelter to address immediate housing needs. Many local faith organizations do step up to help temporarily meet this need. We hope that you were able to find the help that you needed.
