Happy Daze RV - Ripon

**UPDATE: Mike the sales manager went out of his way and went to the dealership after hours to call me and make it right. Mike has excellent customer service and we will be purchasing our new trailer through him. Thank you Mike! I had a really unfortunate experience with James. I called hoping to trade in our 5th wheel for a trailer they had in stock. After negotiating a price, I asked for an out the door number on the new trailer. James told me he needed a down payment and that my credit card would be charged before giving me an exact price. He preceded to tell me that he didn't want me getting off the phone to call and check with my husband, and that "this is not how this works". He feared I was comparing prices with another dealer and that he was "wasting his time". As the conversation went on, he got louder and continued to talk over me before eventually hanging up on me after I told him I won't be doing business with them now since he was such a jerk. The finance manager called me afterwards to apologize and try to make it right which was appreciated but they certainly lost my business.

Happy daze in ripon,its the worst service in the 40 years of owning a Rv,took our 2023 reflection because have a issue with the refrigerator being loose in transit to were it tore all the molding out and dumped all the food to the floor,happy daze says manufacture says that is how they are,NOT called manufacturing company they say no one called them and they will take care of issue.well in the mean time there great service dept got on there forklift and was going to move trailer only to run into the cone and damaged the trailer. Thanks to one of the service reps called me to let me know,Im 5 minutes away and by the time I got there they already repaired and primed the front,this tells me they were trying to hide it,well so they called me and says ready for pickup,I arrive and inspect everything,refrigerator still loose they told me to stuff pool noodles around it,lol good one,so anyway was going to bring home so we could actually do some traveling so my surprise the landing gear was bent,the funny thing is they told me I did it,but wait I said dont you think you lift driver did that when he hit it,service manager said no way and that I would have to pay for it.many calls to happy daze still no where.

My husband and I came in to get an idea of whether we wanted to stay with another 5th wheel or downsize to a smaller trailer since it is just the two of us now but sadly we will be going somewhere else to find our new trailer. The trailers we were shown seemed very nice and I actually really liked one of the 5th wheels but the salesman killed it for us. He was rude to the point that my husband and I left through the side gate because we didn't even want to go back in the building. I am still confused as to what happened to make the salesman so hostile. I would give one star in my review but I really did like a couple of the trailers we looked at.
