My first visit was great. The office is nice and clean and the staff was nice. Havent been to the dentist in years because of a bad experience. This experience was good. Regular check ups for me from now on!!!

I have never had a negative dental experience until coming to Canon Springs Dental and would not recommend it to anybody unless you want subpar dental work and cutting corners at a higher-than-average cost. PLEASE get a second opinion or avoid this place. They do not take responsibility for poor recommendations or work. I wasted almost a thousand dollars, three painful visits, and hours of time for an inadequately performed treatment that lasted only 7 months total. Long story: A cavity was noted on my upper molar ONLY after I brought up that I was having pain eating and flossing at two separate cleanings. I was informed by Dr. Chang that I would need an onlay (synthetic that molds to only part of the tooth) because my cavity was too deep. I paid $825 (WITH dental insurance) out of pocket. Within a day of placement, the onlay partially broke. When I returned to the office to have it checked, Dr. Chang suggested that he use filling material to fill the defect in the onlay. I was already skeptical this would last long-term, but he insisted this was the best option. Thereafter, I was constantly getting food stuck in the filling/onlay but moved from Riverside shortly after. Several months later, the onlay became increasingly jagged, even catching onto floss. I drove almost 2 hours one way back to Canyon Crest to have it looked at. A different dentist, Dr. Lee, told me that the onlay had broken again and that I should replace it. I asked if it would be appropriate to place a crown at that point, but he decided to replace the onlay. This process took over 4 hours, as the onlay they tried to make snapped in half WHILE THEY WERE TRYING TO PLACE IT. This should have been an indication it would not last long. Fast forward two months, the onlay fractured and completely fell out, leaving a painful hole in my tooth. I decided to visit a different dentist in my area due to the pain, and I had completely lost trust in Canyon Springs. The new dentist immediately knew he had to place a crown, which I paid another $900 for. When I called Canyon Crest to explain the situation, they implied it was my fault that the onlay had failed (even though it broke 3 times within 7 months...) and did not offer any kind of compensation or apology for the time and money I had wasted with them.

We've gone to this dentist for over ten years but in the last 6 months they have gone downhill. They tried to bill us at full cost for something that after looking up our insurance paperwork was actually covered. When we brought this to their attention they changed their tune. And then recently they told us our children weren't covered to see a pediatric dentist but when I called our insurance to confirm we found out that this was also incorrect and our insurance called their office to correct them. They also said my husband had gingivitis despite seeing them every six months and wanted to charge us $750 for a "deep cleaning". When he declined the treatment so he could get a second opinion first they refused to clean his teeth at all. They used to be so good, but I think they are just trying to make extra money lately by doing unnecessary treatments on their patients. It's so sad to see and we will be looking for a new dentist. Beware don't go here!

Was super anxious but they made me feel comfortable. Procedure was super fast. And not much pain afterwards. On 3rd day and no severe pain. Would definitely recommend dentist surgeon.

I want to thank Canyon Springs Dental Group for the very wonderful experience. As someone who is terrified of the dentist and has not seen one in a long time, they were the most understanding and professional group. Everything was explained to me step by step and I never felt judged. They took their time with each process and made sure I understood and was comfortable the entire time. I want to thank Dr. Lee and Hygenist Haiden for taking care of me so well. I will definitely come back and recommend them to anyone who has a fear of coming in.
