The coordination staff and caregivers are good listeners, patient, and helpful. Specifically, Ema, caregiver, supports my 82 year old aunt is maintaining her feeling of independence while ensuring she eats and is reminded of the importance of her meds. Ema also helped me, as the family member, support my aunt respectfully as my elder, as opposed to feeling like I am becoming her parent. Thank you!!, Amevian Care Services.

For the past six months or so, we have been blessed to receive your services. From our initial call with Tim, my grandfather and I felt very comfortable. My grandfather was reluctant to have anyone in his home but Tim eased his discomfort by taking his time to conversate and listen. After the meeting he told me he thought he knew of somone that would be a good fit. I was impressed that he had been so thoughtful in recognizing that my grandfather was lonely and in need a friend. James, his provider, was just that. They bonded from the start and all m grandfathers fears were eliminated. I observed the way that the weekly meetings positively impacted him physically, socially and emotionally. In late October my grandfather declined and had fallen down and could not get up. Though I was hundreds of miles away and unable to get to him Tim and James worked with me outside of their schedule to assist me in getting the door open to help him, which I believe saved his life. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for them. James continued to help him while he was in the hospital and rehabilitation center. He provided a lockbox for the house that and even the laundry and cleaned up while my grandfather was away. He visited him while he was in the rehabilitation center and even put together his new walker. My grandfather considers James to be his friend and speaks about him in such high regard. Thank you so much for being there for my grandfather. He is now on the East Coast with me doing well thanks to you!

Amevian stepped up at a very stressful time. We had just moved our father into an Assisted Living facility and been told they could not assist in transporting to his evening CT scan appointment. We figured out transportation only to learn his facility could not provide an escort due to the hour (6:00pm). We were given the contact info for Amevian. Tim worked with my brother to find a caregiver who could go with my Dad to his appointment, stay with him, and get him home. Dev was assigned to our case. Of course, the transportation fell through at the last minute. When Dev arrived, she helped my Dad order a ride share. He was on time for his appointment! Dad called me after he got home, with glowing praise for Dev. She got him a ride to/from when his ride fell through. She stayed with him the whole time. She assisted him to the bathroom when he was at risk of an emergency. He reported she was warm, friendly, cheerful and funny. She was a spot of sunshine and optimism in an otherwise very bleak few weeks. My Dad can be cantankerous. For him to speak so highly of a caregiver really says something. We will not hesitate to work with Amevian again and when we do, well ask for Dev. Thank you Tim and Dev!!!

There are not enough positive words to describe my appreciation for Amevian Home Care. Amevian provides a well-run, people-oriented, top-tier service for the care of your loved ones. I was able to use Amevian on several occasions: once when I requested a caregiver to stay with my mom when I needed to leave town for an extended period and another time when my mother entered Hospice. Due to the nature of our needs, I had the pleasure of working with 4 different and outstanding caregivers. The caregivers Amevian hires are truly the best. I was my mother's primary caregiver, and I worked with other agencies prior to finding Amevian. It is hard to leave your loved one in the care of another person. None of the other agencies provided the level of care Amevian does. After my first conversation with Tim, one of the founder/owners, I knew my experience would be vastly different than before. Tim takes time to interview and ask all the right questions before he searches for the proper caregiver. Tim wants to know the person who needs care: he asks questions about their personality, and their needs, to be able to match the right caregiver to the job. I felt comfortable (for the first time in many years) leaving my mom in someone else's care. Beyond our structured time of being able to pre-plan care, Tim also came alongside me when my mother was suddenly placed on Hospice. I wanted to get her back home, in her own familiar settings, and Tim worked overnight to provide me with excellent 24-hour care. Tim first chose Isabel to work alongside my mother. My mother, who suffered from dementia, enjoyed her time with Isabel greatly. Isabel was friendly, teachable, soft-spoken, kind, and went with the flow of my mother's daily schedule and needs. She was flexible and loving toward my mom. She became a friend to my mom. She not only stayed with my mom when I needed to leave town, but she came back when I needed 24-hour assistance when my mother was placed on Hospice. I also had the pleasure of working with Monica. Monica came during my mother's transition from her final hospital stay to back home on Hospice. Monica was calm, easy to communicate with, and understood the stressful time we had all entered. She provided solutions as we managed our mom's changing needs. She was friendly, understanding, and aware of things that made our mom more comfortable. She applied Chapstick, gave her bed baths, washed and brushed her hair, and helped to change her. Everything Monica did was with loving-intention and gentleness. She mourned with us as we said our final goodbye. Kelsey saved us from long nights. She came with a friendly smile and took care of our mom completely solo so we could get our rest. She stayed awake all night with our mom, rubbed her head, made sure music was on in her room, and was easy to communicate with. When our mom passed away, she reached out to let me know how sad she was that my mom was gone. She not only helped us by allowing my brothers and I to maintain our strength by resting, but she showed that she truly cares about her patients by checking in with me. Angelica was an outstanding caregiver. She comes with years of experience and presented herself like a caring professional. She also took the long nights and was willing to stay awake and watch over the needs of our mom. She was easy to talk to and had great anecdotes and ideas. She let us share who our mom was with her. She asked us questions about our life with our mom, and she showed true interest in helping us to say goodbye well. Angelica even delivered flowers from the Amevian team, so she could give me one last hug and share how sad she was that our mom had passed. The caregivers that Amevian hires are well-trained, polite, and blend into routines seamlessly. I am grateful that Amevian was able to walk alongside us in our time of need.
