Greenhaven Estates Assisted Living and Memory Care

My mother-in-law just recently moved into the assisted living side of Greenhaven. Our experience with everyone - from the initial phone call and visit, to move in, to the daily staff - has been incredible. Everyone has been very kind, friendly, and accommodating. The facility is clean and inviting and, though I have not actually eaten there, the food/menu look very appealing.

I would never put my family at this facility. You have a RCC Luna who is not qualified and can't do her job correctly. You have med tech that drop meds and give it to residents. The AL is turning into Skilled nursing. They don't have enough staff. And estee the ED can't do her job. She just sits down all day and eats. Residents medications go missing from narcotic locked box in Memory care. Now you have Raj the maintenance director sleeping with his housekeeper nicki. What a mess

Greenhaven Estates is a wonderful place for assisted living and memory care residents. Greenhaven Estates is a very clean establishment and my father thoroughly enjoyed the chef's menu. If I could, I would like to thank each of the staff members for doing a fabulous job caring for my dad and other residents. But, during the covid-19 pandemic it was impossible to meet the individuals that give Greenhaven Estates a five-star rating. The communication between staff and family was of great importance and it did not go unnoticed. Donna, the executive director, and her staff operate Greenhaven Estates in a professional manner and have a commitment to excellence. Donna's commitment exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

I worked for this establishment during the pandemic and the year following. It is the reason that I left long-term care, the management was horrendous. We are all receiving settlement checks as we speak. Management would physically throw items at staff work long hours. We were privy to a lot of traumas that we were not given support for. We witnessed the horrific death of a resident and were offered no support and expected to return back to work next morning. They covered up the death of the resident and claimed it was an accident when it was completely avoidable, this accident was caused by a scale that was left in the hallway of memory care for resident to trip over The former Director kept Covid restrictions in place for months solely for the purpose of avoiding families from coming in. When they fired the former Director, Donna, they brought in a new team, and we immediately knew that all of our jobs were on the line. It was a matter of weeks before they cut the entire management team to 20 hours a week but by then I had already left because The only "raise quote they were offering us was our inflation prices. We got no hazard pay and were scolded when we stayed clocked in for the overtime we were asked to stay. It doesn't matter what Director is in the chair, this place has been on probation for years, and will remain to stay that way as long as these large money, corporate companies, keep buying and changing the name it will continue to avoid you losing its license
