NEO Escape Rooms

Did the Capitol Treasure room and had great fun. We were able to escape with 36 seconds remaining.

There was four in our group and we had done about 3 escape rooms before this, and we found the haunted train on the easy side. We needed one clue. There wasnt a lot of lock-and-key type puzzles or clues. It was mostly electronic type puzzles. So if you are super tactile and like the lock and key element try another room. However we did enjoy this room and it was a nice change to get different puzzles and see different ways to do things.

So much fun. Very well thought out puzzles. Clean space. Super nice staff. 10/10. Ill be back for sure

overall w room w experience w frights immersive, fun, exhilarating, enjoyable, worth the price, affordable, quality, everything good our game master was Cass? (not sure how to spell) really good storytelling, so good that she might as well be the next Dr. Seuss

Ive played just over 50 different games around the country at this point. Neo easily ranks among the best in the Sacramento area! I do think both games currently on offer have some room for improvement, but they both easily make the short list of games to try in Sac. Id love to see more of a through line with the narratives while actually playing/completing the games, but this is something virtually every company seems to be struggling with for the last decade. With what they have, Neo is showing they have what it takes to not just be among the best in our area, but across the country! Im still waiting to find the holy grail of games with great production (set, lighting, audio design), great narrative that actually unfolds as you progress, puzzles/tasks that actually make sense within the world and even drive the narrative. Some rooms have 1 of these traits. Few have 2. No one has all 3. Maybe Neo can be the first :) Shout out to our game master tonight, Cass! She was great! Would be happy to have her again. PS I miss the orange light in the lobby. Gotta love monochromatic lighting!
