Ordered the brisket sandwhich on french roll. Flavor was good but bread to meat ratio was a disappointment.

Went on a Sunday during brunch hours and the line was almost out the door and service was kind of slow and clunky. For instance I ordered and then paid like 10 minutes later got my sandwich maybe after another 10 minutes and had to remind them of my Mac salad and got that after another 10 minutes after a 10 minute line. Also there is no BBQ on the weekends and that's why I went there but oh well. My sandwich was good but they were out of sourdough. Also a good portion. Even with my experience there I will go back they have goods from other local shops for sale and it's just a Sacramento store. And I wanna try the BBQ. Oh the Mac salad was great and how I like it with chunks of cheese in it.

I ordered the recommended sandwich, the 'House' and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh baked dutch crunch, pastrami, turkey, cheddar and provolone hot and toasty with cool crispy, fresh cut vegetables. Brian Adams (like the singer), was friendly, helpful and a true sandwich tradesman. I will be back.
