While I'm sure Ed is a nice man, proceed with caution. He was in possession of a family stamp collection for several days. When it was picked up, there were items missing which he'd specifically pointed out as "having value" when the collection was first dropped off. At first he couldn't explain what happened to the missing items, but then said someone named "Bruce Corson" also worked at the shop and he tended to remove things and "not put them back." Where I come from this is called stealing. Ed attempted to make it right by offering a few dollars more than his original appraisal. Just know that if you drop off a stamp collection for any period of time, apparently it may not stay in Ed's hands. We were never told someone else would be going through our collection. This was a very disappointing experience.

Ed is awesome! We had a great experience with a bunch of stamps. He is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and I highly recommend his services.

I have been buying stamps from Ed for over a year now and am always pleased with every transaction. His store is cluttered but he knows where everything is and has tons of inventory. I find him fair and reasonably priced. He is always very accommodating for my requests and inquiries. In Sacramento he is my primary resource for stamps and stamp supplies!
