LL Flooring

Vanessa is an outstanding asset to LL flooring she was patient and respectful throughout my entire purchase. The store is the store products and price are pretty good, but I believe in commending the staff when they stand out.

This is the second time using LLFlooring. Vanessa at the Salinas Sherwood Store is a wonderful sales representative. She is very knowledgeable about the different floor styles which helped us make our decision. She was not pushy and was easy going with our many changes and delays. I truly recommend shopping at LL Flooring in the future. I am using them again for my summer project.

The customer service representative Christina that helped me choose my flooring was absolutely wonderful. She explained everything to me in detail and made it easy for me to understand everything that I needed to purchase as I had never done any floor installation before. However, my experience with the staff at the Salinas location that was supposed to handle the delivery of my items was terrible. They called to confirm that my order was ready to be delivered on Wednesday and scheduled delivery for Thursday. Around 3pm on Thursday I was getting a little worried as I had not received a phone call and no delivery had been made. I called the store and the associate I spoke with did not seem to care at all. He said that the truck was still in Southern California, after I asked multiple times if I could just come pick up my items because I had people coming to install the flooring on Friday. I understand that sometimes there are delays that can't be helped, but a phone call would have been nice as I had people waiting at the location to receive the delivery. I asked when they were expecting the truck to arrive and I was told "oh, maybe at 1:00 on Friday but it could be later" I asked would the delivery take place on Friday then? At first it sounded like yes, that would be the case, until I had to clarify with the associate more than once and he said actually no, the delivery would be Saturday. This was not acceptable so I asked to please be called when the material was ready so I could send someone to pick up. I was told that I could call instead. I don't know how I would be expected to know when the material would be ready so I could call, so I asked again for someone to please call me. Friday came and no one called. I called again at 3:00pm and was told that the truck was there, but it was "stuck" trying to back in. ?? I asked again for someone to call me when things would be ready. No phone call. Finally someone called on Saturday. I sent two people out to pick up. When they came back, they said that they received almost no help loading their truck, even though I specifically asked this on the phone and was told that there would be help. They also had to remind the staff that I was due a refund for delivery and were told "oh, we forgot." I will not be shopping here again. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was the excellent help that I received from Christina.

Knowledgeable, unpleasant sales, people, good selection to choose from, good prices.
