I am extremely overdue on my review on Corey thats because I am just living and loving my new home that him and the extended team made possible for me. Working with Corey and his team was a very comfortable and supportive experience. I was the QB and Intercap was my team - making the plays, a few tackles, and scored the touch down. I personally knew little to nothing about real estate, loans, etc., however, Corey broke things down for me ensuring I understood each step; whether that took 5 minutes or 35 minutes. We initially started looking around February 2022. We were looking to replace an income property that we owned in Washington state, a 1031 exchange. During the time February through August, the market changed drastically. In February properties were accepting offers within a week of listing. Interest rates were at all-time lows. And prices were moving up every week. Then everything changed and interest rates started to climb, prices leveled and started to decrease. We had a mortgage broker that we were working with that, frankly, was not responsive and gave us the feeling that our business was not important. I asked our real estate agent, and he referred Corey Husted of Intercap Lending. Corey worked hard to find us a wonderful rate in a difficult environment. He worked tirelessly answering questions and getting us approved very quickly. We were in contract in more than one property which means more than one approval. We finally found a property in August and closed in early September. Corey is responsive and professional. He managed the relationship with the title company which was not an easy task. As a first time homeowner, I was nave to everything about buying a place on my own - where to start, who to talk to, how much can I afford...I had so many questions and concerns. From Day 1, Corey treated me with such patience, grace, and consideration, he made me feel seen and gave me the confidence I needed to succeed in this process. It's a genuine reflection of his professionalism and character. We put in several offers, and each step of the way, he was in constant communication with me and my realtor - we really did feel like the Dream Team.
