    My first trip with AFC was last year. We have toured with Premier for many years. When I received the brochure from AFC last year we immediately signed up. Started with the the Niagara Falls & Grand Hotel tour. This tour is excellent & better than we could ever imagine. I highly recommend it. We are signed up for the Seattle, Alaska cruise leaving in August. I will only use AFC, I can't say enough good things about them.

    I have been using AFC for many years, and I have always had wonderful experiences. AFC. is my go to travel company. My most favorite aspects of their service are the discounted single supplements, the car service to and from the airport, the awesome and personable tour guides, and their amazing trip itineraries. My trips were Atlanta, Georgia on My Mind;  Detroit, Niagara Falls and the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island as well;  and Rome and the Country Roads of Tuscany.  I am looking forward to three more trips this year. One is a river cruise on the Seine, a trip to Nova Scotia and the Maritimes which includes staying on Prince Edward Island, and a River Cruise on the Danube.

    We just returned from our first Mystery Tour.  We had so much fun!  We didn't even know where we would be going until we got our boarding passes.  The itinerary was a secret from venue to venue.  Just enough hints were given to get us prepared.  It was an action packed 5 days.  We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.  And AFC took care of us.  Deb Howard was an excellent tour manager and Mark with Wilson bus company got us around safely and on time.  He helped with my handicapped husband's equipment.  Every time we got out of the bus, the wheelchair was waiting.  When our flight home was cancelled, the team went to work getting us a last minute flight on another airline.  Everything worked out fine because they are all excellent professionals at AFC.

    I'm placing this review because I've had difficulty during Covid and I placed a review on AFC Vacation s and of course the company did not like my review to my knowledge, We have never had a pandemic in modern times that affected the whole world. I had made a reservation for two trips in the USA, I was not vaccinated, so I was unable to participate if they did provide travel during that time. This travel was scheduled just before Covid hit and at 81 years old I felt I had a right to have a refund for numerous reasons. April told me that I had the right to give it to somebody that was approximately $4000 between the two trips. I'm a healthy woman I wanted to live and travel and use this. I might not be alive when Covid was over or too old to travel.So after many conversations with April their customer service representative, one of my trips was refunded to me. I was very grateful for this. One down and one more to go. They did not refund me my money for the travel insurance which I didn't like, but I excepted.I  believe the circumstances during Covid were different. I felt it good customer service, and possibly not ever able to take the trip because we didn't know how long it was going to last and actually it lasted a lot longer than we thought because we had never been through it before.Too let you know how this all started I decided that it was time to travel, covid travel was lifted and I wanted to travel.  I had a new brochure, and the same trip was considerably higher and I wanted to know if I was going to have to pay the new price. I had vouchers and April told me they were incorrect amounts and I didn't understand that because they AFC sent me the vouchers. Why would the amount be different?  April was not budging so after 44 conversations and I decided to contact the president. I looked up the information and contacted Matt and he was very nice and after some time a few more messages, he provided me the kind of customer service that should've been done in the beginning before I had to go to the president of the company. He tried to work with me and finally sent me a final check, reimbursing me for that last trip scheduled before Covid.  I found it very interesting, though they still did not give me what the vouchers stated I had coming to me. Why.  Customer Service it's very important for all companies and like I said, especially during the Covid when it was just crazy time in our lives, I didn't feel it was fair to keep my money when I wanted it back. Now I have been told by April, that I will never be able to travel with AFC again, Wow, can you believe that they've black balled me‍What kind of customer service is that. I am involved with three senior centers that support AFC they have travel shows and I could be very damaging to the company if I wanted to. I just cannot believe that April has been given the power to make such a statement and enforce it.There are many travel companies to travel with and this company provides a wonderful service. AFC has a service to pick you up at your home. They secure your air travel which is a great service for senior citizens and others. and provide great locations and tours. Why would they keep me from traveling with them?  I didn't create this in the beginning, and again it was all because of Covid. They could've returned my money in the beginning, and had the confidence that if I was still alive and able to travel that I would choose them because they provide the kind of service I need and want. I'm an 81 year old woman I'm not going to create any rift if they just would've given me my money back. They have made peace thank you Matt and April for satisfying your customer. You must always remember there are always exceptions to everything this didn't have to happen and you don't need to blackball me from traveling with you again that is unnecessary and still bad customer service.  Matt in April I was told time is money and look at you've taken many hours to resolve this. Also many hours from my life that can never be replaced. Best to you both sincerely, Barbara.
