My daughter, 3 years old, has been attending Pixie Hall Preschool Tuesday/ Thursday Program this year and loves it.  She started off the school year very shy and has blossomed. It's a lovely school with warm teachers, engaging activities, and mellow vibe.  Unlike many preschools, they take the class on outings everyday in Noe Valley (library, park, snack at bagel shop) so they are an integral part of the community and have new experiences. We've had a fantastic experience and highly recommend the school, program, teachers, and director.

The teachers here are the BEST! Teacher Nellie, who oversees the program, really teaches the kids, bringing science, art, numbers/reading and "urban awareness" alive. I'm confident that kindergarten will simply be a review for my daughter.

Our son has thrived at Pixie Hall. He loves going to preschool and is so happy when we go and pick him up. The teachers are amazing and so nurturing. You won't be able to find a better ratio of teachers to students.The school is so cute, and well designed for the small space. They focus on the arts and make really creative pieces for their age group. I would be highly recommend Pixie Hall to any family.
