Zora The Doula

Zora was our post partum doula for 8 weeks. She was wonderful in every way. She cared for our newborn, supported us as parents and charmed our older kids.

Were so thankful for Zoras support during the early weeks postpartum. There is a real ease to Zoras presence. Shes incredibly intuitive to others needs and provided wonderful care to our whole family. We consider Zoras support to have been a real investment that helped us navigate our babys early days much better than had we tackled things on our own.

Zora helped me with my newborn at night for about 3 weeks. She deferred to any request (no matter how odd) it was. She was very gentle with our little one who had bad reflux as well as an occasional witching hour. She helped us with nursing and bottle feeding as well baths. She had a calming presence in the house and afforded me to get some much needed sleep (and encouragement).

Where to begin Zora was our daytime doula for 6 weeks and the whole experience was so positive. I struggled a lot with PPA after my first baby was born but this time around was the complete opposite. She started spending time with me and baby at the hospital after a scheduled c section. She was flexible with her schedule and calm and didnt need me to tell her how to help, she just knew what to do. She did everything from small things like always making sure I had water to drinkto big things like dealing with my 2 year old toddler (who loves her).. she helped keeping things tidy and folded clothes beautifully. Having emotional support by someone who gets you was a game changer. Definitely recommending Zora to anyone looking for a doula, the GOAT of doulas!

Zora was like a Mary Poppins for me when I came home from the hospital with my newborn baby. She exudes so much calm and love in caring for both mom and baby. I have recommended her to all my friends with new babies. I really cannot recommend her highly enough and am forever grateful to her for helping ease me into motherhood.
