Area Floor Works

Flake. Avo, the proprietor didn't show up to our first appointment, he said he was a no show because I didn't text him the address. No problem, we rescheduled, and I followed up with a text giving him the address with date, time, location of appointment which was to be today between 10:00 and 11:00. (See an example of one of our texts in the photo) He then texted 3 times and called me once to say: running late,be there in 30 minutes, leaving my showroom in 10 minutes, and finally a text with "sorry  for the inconvenience, but I have two other appointments I have to get to" Inconvenience? I woke up at 7:00 and drove in from Napa at 8:00 am in traffic, arrived at my SF condo and waited 2 hours for an  appointment that never happened. Beyond inconvenient, downright rude. Very poor business manners. Avo may be good at finishing floors, but I'll never know. Who wants to hire a business that is so unreliable.

It went beautifully. It was very professionally done. We want to give them the highest recommendation. Every aspect of the job was thoroughly explained. We appreciated the time that was taken to do that.

We had a great experience with Area Floor Works. Avo was very friendly and helped a lot with choseing the floor for out home office. Best floring store in the valley.P.S. Once you're there, dont forget to check out Avo's pomegrenade collection.

Avo did a fantastic job refinishing the incredibly beat up hard wood floors in our 1915 craftsman home in the Inner Sunset. The work included replacing some water damaged sections. We were extremely impressed with Avo's passion and professionalism. The price was reasonable and the quality of the work was 100% A ++. If you are surfing the net looking for a good hardwood floor pro, stop surfing and contact Avo at Area Floor Works ASAP. Avo and team are excellent. We recommend them highly.
