I selected Nam based on his excellent Yelp reviews, fair quote, and conscientiousness... and I made a great decision. I also was no longer living in the area, so I relied on his photo and text updates to see the work in progress... and had some local friends check in after. The floors look amazing - he got rid of that dated honey color and fixed up worn and blemished areas . I could not be happier.  Highly recommend.

Nam and his crew were awesome.  He showed up on time and gave us a very reasonable quote plus a start work date.  He and his crew arrived at our home on time and proceeded to do an outstanding job refinishing our floors. Nam kept us in the loop the entire process.  I highly recommend this business if you need any flooring work.

Nam and Francis came on time for a scheduled cleaning. We scheduled work to start at 9am, arrived promptly, and estimated to be done at 5pm but finished around 3pm! I sent some pictures prior to the scheduling so I was able to get an estimate. I had an issue with my floors where the rug left deposits on the hardwood floor. Original cost for the cleaning was $900 but at the end of the job, Nam told me that the job was easier than he thought so final cost was reduced down to $700. Would definitely recommend using him for his services!

Bay Floor Crafters (Nam Nguyen and crew) recently finished working on my house. On the dilapidated first floor, they added a new oak floor over Douglass fir, and on the seriously damaged second floor, they repaired, sanded, and refinished, completely changing the look. This project has given my old house a new lease on life. Nam was easy to deal with: communicative, knowledgeable, smart, and helpful. He was mellow when, late in the game,  I wavered about the type of wood to use and changed the specs. He was patient and offered great advice about a difficult stain color choice for the splotchy fir upstairs.  The team handled the details beautifully. All the corners and curves in this Victorian house came out perfectly, they finessed various challenges, and they cleaned up well. Another rave review, 110%! I'd write more, but I'm too busy staring at the newly bright and beautiful floors!

Nam and his crew did incredible work on our rental unit.  I hired him for a small job in the past and he did a good job and I could tell by other photos in other reviews that he would do a good job again.  But I did reach out to other flooring people just to see what the pricing was.  It was about the same as 2 other places and one other place quoted almost half the price.  But these other places were flakey, unresponsive and I don't know if they would show up when I needed them to show up and I had deadlines.  Nam is very dependable, responsive and I felt completely comfortable having him complete the job.  That means a lot, when I am very busy juggling a million other things and I don't have time to keep on top of every person I hire.  I recommend using Nam - you won't regret it.
