The single worst service experience of my life. I brought my brand new (2 weeks old, newest model) Range Rover in to be serviced. It was having problems with the engine, where the car was making weird noises, shaking, and not accelerating properly. It would have these problems then not be able to start back up. After spending a few hours with my vehicle, the service team messaged me that it was just a minor software update problem and they fixed it. I Ubered back to the dealership to pick up the car, signed the paperwork for it then drove it back home, only for the car to start experiencing the same exact problem while I was on the highway. The car abruptly slowed down and would not accelerate past 20 mph even as I was flooring the gas. thankfully, I was able to get home, where I powered off the car and, just as I expected, it would not start back up again. Clearly, this was not just a software issue, and by neglecting to diagnose the real problem with my vehicle the technicians and service team put my life at risk. A simple test drive would’ve shown them that there was a deeper issue here. rather than being apologetic and understanding when I alerted the team of the persistence of the problem despite what they had said earlier, the service team member I was working with got defensive and did not accept responsibility for the stress and potential harm (nevermind the several hours out of my day that it took to deal with this). I certainly would 0/10 recommend bringing your car in to this location.
