Moldovan Academy

Our son started at Moldovan Academy shortly after turning 2 years old and we've had a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly warm, thoughtful, and caring. They were so helpful with our family's transition into preschool. There is a thoughtful lesson plan shared with us along with a summary of what the children did each week. Our son loves the variety of activities at school including art, music, play time, and more. He truly enjoys going to school each day. We highly recommend Moldovan Academy!

We started our son at the Moldovan Academy in January and could not be happier! Our son had never been in a daycare or school environment previously and we were nervous as to how he would take to it. The first couple of weeks were a little tough (to be expected) but now he RUNS into that place and gives his teachers a huge hug every day! The teachers and staff are SO wonderful and have helped him grow and learn so much already. I love the weekly updates with photos and their curriculum is top notch. The facility is brand new and they have a nice play area in the back. The owner, Kathleen, is such a lovely person, too! You can rest assured that your child will be well taken care of here. Highly recommend!

Moldovan Academy is a standout preschool in the Noe/Mission/Bernal/Glen Park area for their teaching philosophy (thoughtful and intentional lesson plans structured with plenty of play mixed in) and parent communication. Our oldest child LOVED her 1st year of school here. After a disappointing 6mo hiatus at another school (due to location preferences) we came running back. Instantly we saw a difference in our daughter's demeanor and excitement about school. She comes home excitedly chattering about the craft or science experiment she did that day. The teachers communicate their lesson plans for the coming week which gives ample opportunity to interact with our child and engage in their education. It is clear the week's activities are planned, intentional and have purpose. This is something we missed at a less structured play-based school.
