California school of art and design (CSAD)

I have attended CSAD for 2 years now; I used to go to another art studio and I hoped to create my portfolio there but the teacher and program was extremely disorganized. At CSAD, however, i was allowed complete freedom to choose projects while still having advice and oversight from the very experienced teachers. It's clean, organized and it is always my decision. I will be staying here to compete my portfolio and there is a lot of support for any major/minor/interest I decide to pursue at whatever school I choose. Not to mention, they always provide the best materials and space and their schedule is very accommodating to busy high-school students like myself. I received most of my technical training in he different mediums at my previous studio but CSAD was perfect for me at the time that I transferred giving me more freedom and structure than I had before. I would definitely recommend this place for artists looking for a place to create their portfolio and need someone to guide them through the college applications process!

I went to CSAD all throughout high school and loved it! Mr. and Mrs. Lee helped me prepare and develop as an artist, from learning the basics of observational drawing to photographing and sending in my portfolio to colleges. CSAD will help you prepare for any creative industry, including illustration, entertainment design, and more. I also took graphic design and life drawing classes through CSAD, and got to experience a broad spectrum of media.
