This company is scamming people and using fear tactics! I was told that I was being sued by Bank of America for a old debt from 2007. I was confused b/c I have been a BofA customer for 20 years. I had no idea what the lady was talking about. I then contacted BofA pertaining to the lawsuit. BofA couldnt find any information of a lawsuit against me and gave me a fax number to give to Kirkland & Associates to fax them a copy of the lawsuit. I called Kirkland & Associates back to attempt to give them the fax number from BofA to send a copy of the Law Suit. The lady on the phone then came clean, but became defensive, agitated, and a little aggressive in her tone and said BofA is not suing you, we are! I was then confused and realized that this is a scam. She then stated that I have a old debt from 2007 with BofA that I needed to pay. I said maim, I dont know what your talking about. She then hung up the phone in my face. I then became curious and researched this company in the NMLS database and they are not licensed to collect debt. They are working illegally to collect debt (do not pay them a dime if they contact you) I then googled this company to find out where they are located, and to my surprise they are working, harassing, and scamming people from the comfort of their own home. I then contacted this company again to tell them to Cease & Desist from any future engagement with me and the lady hung up the phone again.
