Had a consult with her. She is so knowledgeable about family law. She provided me her time even more than what would have been given for a regular consult, and more importantly, she offered invaluable insight and suggestions about how I can better my circumstances for my case to be successful . She is direct and to the point , yet still maintains kindness and empathy in what you tell her your situation is. I wasnt able to retain her services due to some conflicts in schedule with her cases and other commitments , but I would highly recommend her for any family law case ! She knows her stuff and is clearly good at what she does, as demonstrated by the numerous questions she was able to answer for me in such a short time.

Poor communicator and not recommended if you are the male parent in custody cases. Does not understand long term affects of alienation even though acknowledges it exists along with coercion. Always quick to send the bill however.

This lawyer was my ex's attorney. She made the case unnecessarily complicated and contested. Kept making extreme, unrealistic, and offending requests, that were all been ignored and rejected by the judge at the first court hearing (Literally all their requests were denied, except the lawyer fee request. I can personally send you a copy of the judge's ruling if anyone asks). Without this lawyer, the case would have been cooperative and peaceful. But the relationship was completely destroyed after the litigation. I think this was unethical. All she could do was throwing threatening and insulting emails. Her emails were threatening, offensive, provoking, and stressful. But they were safe to ignore. Eventually her client(my ex)'s rights were not protected at all. For example, she missed important things while doing negotiation. So, after negotiation is done, my ex was screwed up and unhappy, and eventually switched to another lawyer in a few months (Switching a lawyer is risky and costs lots of money). With that new lawyer, my ex filed a motion, in which basically she said "My previous lawyer [meaning Ms. Dung] told me to just sign the agreement, so I did, but I didn't understand what I signed. So please vacate it, your honor." (Not sure whether I'm allowed to attach that declaration here, but I can send it to you personally if anyone asks). The point is the lawyer's incompetency, as well as my ex'es recklessness. So the results were a huge waste of money, time, energy, and broken relationship. It was a lose-lose game. Of course lawyers earned money. A lot. I know some lawyers try to discredit the opposing party, by lies and slander. I hope this lawyer won't do that in his reply to this review. When choosing legal service providers, most people don't have useful information. So I believe honest and detailed reviews for them are very important to protect the people's rights. You know lawyers in the US. Some lawyers' speech and writing are literally like kids' ranting without any logic, reasoning, or evidence (And now you should know whether I think this lawyer is one of them or not). But you will not know until you see your results and pay the attorney fee, which eventually exceeded 6 digits in my case. Sure, this lawyer has good reviews here, like anyone else. It's your responsibility to decide whether they're real. In the US, your life, money, and your children's future can be screwed up IRREVERSIBLY if you choose a bad lawyer. That's why bad lawyers deserve bad reputation for justice and people's protection. I know Korean women living in the bay area don't have many options. Probably that's why unethical and incompetent legal service providers can thrive by destroying families, just because they speak Korean. Ladies, if you can't speak English, go back to Korea when you want to divorce, rather than donating 6 digit money to lawyers in the US (that is basically transferring your children's college fund to lawyers' children's college funds). These days women's rights are pretty well protected in South Korea. With the newly changed laws, the South Korea court will order very reasonable asset division and child support, comparable to those of the US. And you know that the lawyers in Korea are not as bad and unqualified as those in the US, and they're much cheaper. If you want to discuss in Korean language with me, contact me personally. I am someone who wasted 6 digit money to bad Korean lawyers in the US for no good results.
