Maria is kind, compassionate, thoughtful, hard working, responsive, experienced and a go getter who strives to get you your dream home in your budget. She's fantastic at her job, has a solid partner in Katerina and together they manage to be available for you 24/7. We got introduced to Maria through friends that swore by her and we soon understood why. She made us first time home buyers feel comfortable from the get go. She gave us all the information and guidance we needed, while holding our hands as we digested them one step at a time. If you're a newbie, I recommend doing your first few open houses with Maria; she shared in depth insights to help us see the home from her experienced lens (this is the stuff you won't find on google). She has the incredible ability to stay closely tuned in to our needs and help weigh options, while respectfully giving us the space to make our own choices. Maria's insights are not just limited to market value, she helped calculate value for us (which is quite subjective) and also helped calculate cost of remodels big and small post purchase. Home buying can be quite the ride - offer rejections can be upsetting, the wait can get frustrating and going all in takes nerves. Having done this drill a zillion times, Maria knows what to expect, is empathetic and supportive every step of the way in whatever way you need. When it comes to making the offer, she's the beast you need on your team. She leaves no stone unturned, follows up relentlessly, stays on top of everything proactively, negotiates artfully and helps you make the winning offer on your dream home. She stayed in touch with the lenders to ensure the closing process was hassle free as well. The Maria magic does not end with giving you your keys. She stays in touch, celebrates us on occasions big and small, helps us find contractors for flooring, paint, plumbing jobs and the works. And needless to say, all her references meet the gold standard for quality and affordability. Till date, she's the happiest to hear that we're enjoying our home and loves to see pictures of how the decor/remodels are coming along. She truly cares and it shows. One of our friends recommended Maria to us and we worked with Maria and Katerina to purchase our home. As first time buyers, we had a lot of questions which they patiently and promptly answered. She helped us tune our search criteria which helped us in finding our home sooner. They made us feel comfortable with the whole process. They are always making the showings work on a short notice. They also put together all the information to help with an informed decision on the houses we were looking at. Maria also helped us with the lenders as well and we were able to get an attractive rate. She kept in touch with the lenders to make sure the closing process went smoothly. First time home buyers here. We initially started working with a few different agents but found that most lacked the attention and knowledge that we needed to make a good decision. As soon as we spoke with Maria it became evident that she was different. She found information for us that we didn't even realize we needed to consider (county transfer tax in San Mateo). Her insights helped us make a great decision and we are truly incredibly lucky to have her on our side. She was even able to negotiate a $10K sellers credit and a home warranty, even though we weren't pushing for either.
