        Scott and his staff of instructors are great. Received my PPL while flying with Horton. Planes are always in good shape. Only room for improvement would be an improved booking system (currently its email, text, or instructor) to make building time easier with SoCal weather and the marine layer. Still highly recommended!

        Scott Horton is a five-star flight instructor. He helped me quickly and efficiently earn my instrument rating in my own airplane. I easily passed my IFR checkride thanks to Scott's diligent and methodical instruction.

        I earned my multi-engine instrument addon at Horton Aviation. Scott Horton and my CFI Daniel made the process safe, enjoyable, and fun. Scott handled all of the scheduling of the DPE and I simply had to show up on the day of the checkride. The entire training took a little over 2 weeks. They are very flexible with scheduling as I work full time and can only fly late afternoons and weekends. Would definitely recommend!
