I had the privilege of providing a Covid-19 Training to the Bethel Baptist School staff  to prepare for the reopening of the school to in-person learning  on September 2, 2020. Terry Cantrell and Rosemarie Osbourne facilitated the training of staff on the Department of Public Health guidelines and protocols to ensure the safe return of students and staff back to school.  It was a pleasure to work with faculty and staff that were already so well informed and prepared with a plan to safely open their school.  In addition,  working with Administrators that were praying the will of God because they knew how it important it was for the students their progression of academic and spiritual growth.

Love the school and the teachers. My daughter has never been in a school where the teachers cared more. It is obvious that the teachers want the kids to excel. My daughter started at the school in 2020. I am excited that she will graduate from a school that takes education so seriously. It IS a small school and while that may have some draw backs as far as extra curricular activities go....it has helped my children to get the one on one attention in class that I did not get in public school.

I love this school. We happened upon it by accident when my oldest was starting Kindergarten. I couldn't be happier with the choice to send my kids here. We have 3 children who all attend school here and the academics are wonderful, the small class sizes allow the kids to have a lot of interaction with their teachers, and the students are friends with kids who are in other grades. The school emphasizes teaching Jesus which is very important. If you are looking for a great school with wonderful teachers this is where you should look!

I don't recommend you send your child to this school, especially if your child is female. This school is very misogynistic and enforces strict rules to female students. For the male students, they don't give two cents about them. There is no variety in extracurriculars. Not to mention the people who have power in this school are very abusive in using their power. I would also not recommend this school for there are (1) racial issues clearly not addressed and even skimmed over, (2) no sex education which means your child is basically clueless on how children are made since that is "vulgar", (3) some of the staff aren't even qualified to teach, (4) their "amazing" curriculum is basically indoctrinating your child to believing that they will go to hell if they don't accept Jesus as their saviour, and (5) the staff shows obvious favoritism to particular students who are known to be Christian. This school says that they will give you a choice on whether to accept Jesus as your personal saviour, but in reality, it just pressures you to be a Christian. Oh, I also forgot to mention the forced Bible classes you have take and that you have to partake in chapel. If you do send your child to this school, warn them about what they are going to face. (P.S. If your child loses a book or something, they charge your child a fee in order for your child to get their item back. If your child does not get their item back, the school can sell and auction off that item. Not worth the tuition.)
