Wound Care OC

I found Wound Care OC online - I needed to take my 96-year "young" mother, who had 2 wounds - one on each leg - on her ankles. The one on the right leg had been there for 6 months. The one on the left leg for 3 months. My mom has 4 kids that she is rotated between every 3 months. That way we all get to spend time with her. But 2 of my sisters had battled these wounds, and the most recent stay with my oldest sister, had involved her taking our mom to a dermatologist, who treated these wounds as skin cancer. He just made things worse, and by the time I found Wound Care OC, the left leg wound was infected. Alexis at Wound Care OC has truly been a gift and worked wonders with my mom's wounds. In 3 weeks, the right leg (6 month wound), was completely healed! The left leg that got infected (3 month wound) was treated for the infection with antibiotics and the other topical treatment that was used for both legs. The left leg took 4 weeks to heal under Alexis' great care, so just an additional week. I feel this has been a minor miracle, after these wounds languished for so long. A word about Alexis is warranted here. She is the most personable, caring, kind-hearted health professional I believe I have ever met! She cares so much and is so kind and warm, not to mention, great at what she does! She is a huge asset to the Zephyr Medical Group, where the wound care is located. We also met Dr. Banimahd, and he is a gem! The entire staff is warm and caring - AND we received text message reminders of our upcoming appointments. Overall, we couldn't be happier that we found this great medical group. I hope we don't need to return, but if we do, it will be a pleasure to see Alexis, Dr. Banimahd and the rest of the staff at Wound Care OC and Zephyr Medical Group.

Dr. B and his team are wonderful wound care specialists! I highly recommend them if you are within Orange County. They even will see you in your own home!

I don't really leave reviews, but I just had to! Since the moment I called I was treated with care and respect. Personally they're more like family than a medical place. They're the only ones that I trust with the wounds I've had. I strongly recommend Wound Care OC to everyone. They're professional and caring people as well as individuals too. Dr. Banimahd is hands down the best wound care specialist in Orange County!
