If you wish your love one to survive longer dont go there because they will not take care only give patients sleep no exercise no take to anywhere just sleep in bed and die. Terrible place on earth.

Don't go there. This place his trying to kill your love one. Can you believe that the whole floor is filled but after 6 pm no more sound not a word from patients. They give something to patients to sleep and they not try give them survive. My husband died within 8 hrs. In the same day. On midnight. If you whish your love one to stay longer. Don't go there expensive and care less

Beautiful facility with a very caring and accommodating staff. My mothers nurse was an angel here on Earth. I cant imagine a more peaceful way to spend a loved ones last moments.

Terrible experience with the administrative/finance department and one of nurses. During a time when your loved one is transitioning, the last thing you expect or want to deal with are bait and switch tactics. I was beyond appalled that Lynn Gamble and Jennifer Sullivan would act in such a despicable manner and practice such deplorable business tactics. In short, Jennifer Sullivan is the hospital liaison and presented me with an offer for hospice services as the matriach of our family was actively transitioning at cottage hospital. We needed to act extremely quickly and decided to take their offer. 3 days into hospice when our ailing family member was no longer responsive, Lynn Gamble from the finance department calld me and told me that Jennifer Sullivan's offer was incorrect and we needed to pay more money to keep our grandmother at Serenity. Again, my grandmother was extremly close to passing away at the time of Lynn's surprise call/info. The palliative care worker from Cottage Hospital who introduced us to Serenity House - VNA Health, confirmed to our family of their original offer and was also shocked that they would change their price...especially at a time when we were actively watching someone transition. I thankfully have forgiven both Jennifer Sullivan and Lynn Gamble and I hope they never have to experience that level of disrespect and anguish at a time when one of their loved ones is dying. Please realize that the property is very nice, and almost all the nurses are very good. Just also realize there is definitely a reason that they have a lower than ideal rating at the time of writing this. 3.7 stars out of 5 on 10/31/2023. I wish the best to you and your loved one.
