Little Angels Preschool

This school is literally the best and I'm so thankful for the years that my children got to spend there. It's so hard to move onto Kindergarten because nothing compares to their time here. Mary Lopez is an amazing director and the families and teachers are so involved in making the experience amazing for the children and their families. COVID has made this a challenging year and they managed to keep their doors open and make it a safe and comfortable environment for the kids while maintaining normalcy and fun so that the children weren't affected.  I can't say enough about this school... from family drive in movie nights to carnivals and special family activities, it's literally the best. I highly recommend it to anyone with preschool aged kids and be sure to get on their waitlist early because it fills fast!

LAPS is the only setting I completely entrusted the teachers and staff with my then 3 year old son. I would pop in and watched how the teachers engaged the children and gently guided the children in a way that made learning fun. Each teacher treats the children as if they were their own. I was so worried my son would miss me at preschool or not want to go. My son cried when I would pick him up to take him. He didnt want to leave and was so excited to see his teachers and classmates. The families are wonderful and we have made friends for life. Im thankful to Director Mary Lopez for taking such good care of my son. I am grateful.

Not sure why Little Angels doesn't have other reviews, because it is such an awesome place! We started our 2 year old here pre-potty training and new to Santa Barbara. The ladybug class was a perfect fit: teachers Ms. Katy, Ms. Orneleas and Ms. Eileen transitioned him into the classroom with compassion and fun. By the end of his first summer, he was potty trained and loved going to class. The kids are given tons of outdoor time, too (when you tour, you'll be blown away by the outside facilities). The indoor area is equally as great with new themes every week or so, and many learning opportunities for the kiddos. Our boy was counting to 20 before we realized we should be teaching him numbers! (Whoops)The admin team (Mrs. Lopez) is super accommodating, too, encouraging me to check in if I was worried about anything. The staff also made sure to tell me about blossoming friendships so I could encourage outside play dates.Also great is the availability of summer school! Not a ton of preschools in SB offer that!Everyone here is loving, friendly, and pours so much into the children. I can't say enough about Little Angels.
