    Coleman family dental is the best dentist I have been to. Dr. Bell is excellent at her work and the entire staff is so kind and accommodating. They are all very communicative and professional and will never make you feel guilty about the work that you need done.

    Amazing team of women working here. Really felt taken care of and made sure I was comfortable. Sadly I am moving and can no longer come for my dental care. I'll always think of office as my favorite place where friendly faces work. Thank you.

    I love Dr. Bell. I really do. But one thing I've started to notice now is the lack of communication from her as the doctor. I can't blame the receptionist or the assistants about this because she is the one who is deciding the procedures and should be explaining to the patient what they are coming in for and what they need to do on the next appointment. I came in last November to get a crown. She prepped my tooth, took a mold and drilled the holes in my tooth before sending the mold to my insurance company to have it approved, only to find out they didn't approve it. I was left with a temporary filling for 5 months until I got new insurance. After coming back to get the crown fitted, I come to find out they're not doing one but 2 teeth. No one told me anything, I found out through a letter in the mail from my insurance of how much I owed. In addition to this, when I came back again, it seems she changed her mind again and had the second tooth as an overlay which cost me $95 more than the insurance estimate. No communication whatsoever. It seems that she just does whatever she thinks is best without telling the patient. I would understand if she thought my teeth were in really bad shape and I really needed these procedures, but I would just like to know before she proceeds to do them.

    I did a deep cleaning and my review is based on this experience. 1. Lack of communication: They didn't give me enough information before performing anesthesia on my gum. So I left with a numb lip without knowing when it will be back to normal. In addition, they didn't tell me what procedures will be performed upon arrival. So it's a little bit surprising that they did an X-ray before my deep cleaning. They also asked me to sign the paperwork for the X-ray only after I took the X-ray. In general, don't expect the typical doctor-patient communications from this place. 2. The assistant seems to be inexperienced. She put the apparatus so deep in my throat that I almost threw up. I had to remind them specifically about this.

    I have been using Dr. Bell @ Coleman Family Dental.  I had started a new job so here come a new Dental Insurance policy.  The first item that brought me to Coleman Family Dental is they are open on Saturday and Sunday as well as late hours on Mon-Friday.  This was a real plus in my eyes.  I try and schedule my appointments so i don't have to miss work. The office is right by the Costco Santa Clara so really easy to find.  My impression of the office was it was so very clean.  The waiting area has a nice TV. to watch.  Now with the New COVID they have put all the necessary plastic receptionist covering.  They also take your temperature upon arrive.Just as Nurses and Doctors I feel the Dentist industry are putting them selves in the front line danger.  So I tip my hat off to these workers that help us with the our Dental Issues.  You know I have read some of the 1 star or bad review here. Sorry But I feel one If you had better Insurance maybe you would have to pay 30% of a bill.  Why blame the Dentist.  These are small business trying to get by with COVID and they have taken a big hit.  They have families, jobs and bills to pay.  I understand a bad review for a serious problem.  But I don't see one here.  When i see a review because of simple paperwork mistake.  Everyone makes mistakes, even me.  Teeth Pain is our fault for waiting till it gets this bad.  Don't blame the Dentist trying to fix your bad Hygiene of non brushing.  Doctor Bell *** I though she was vey friendly.  This is a woman that get down to business Your TEETH !  She is meticulous in her dentistry.  I have so many things done here.  From simple cleaning, Root Canals, Cavities and yes she told me i need a crowns.  I respect her opinion.  A person can give simple explanation but Science says is what is on the X-rays and her seeing your teeth.  I find her to be very down to earth. Her help in the office has ranged from dental Hygienist.  I thought everyone i interacted was so very nice to me.So lets help our fellow Santa Clara Business get back on track.  Dr. Bell and Coleman Dentistry is a wonderful place to help you with your dental problems.  I totally recommend them. See you Soon for my 4 Crowns i have to do come 2021
