I went here my freshmen year a long time ago. This school used to and still does host a ton of events not related to the high school. It's a nice campus and if you apply yourself you can get a good education here. I have friends who's kids go here and they love it. I hope they keep up the high standards and don't let anything get in the way of educated our youth.

This is the best school ever. Everybody is really nice here. But there are some drug activity here sometimes.

BE AWARE!!!!want to inform parents of the drug activity happening at this school. There are kids bringing edibles and offering to others in school. Unfortunately my daughter decided to not be smart enough to say NO and ate some which ended up in a bad situation where she had to be rushed to the hospital and admitted as this was not just marijuana it was laced with other drugs. Thank God she's alive however, it's super alarming and dangerous. I know it's not the schools fault however, I emailed the vice principal & principal when this happened and have not received a response (October 2018). This is something serious and should be taken care of immediately, and inform other parents of what is happening on school grounds. Hope this information helps other parents be aware of what is happening and what their children are being exposed to at school.Also want to share some feedback about Mr. Benjamin Wylam. He is one of the science teacher here at SCHS. I had reached out to him previously because I was concerned about my child's education along with reaching out to her other teachers and by far he was the most unpleasant person to speak to. He didn't want to accommodate her in any way. Why is he teaching if he's not willing to help his students??? Maybe he should retire or choose a different career because teaching should be where a teacher cares, wants his students to succeed, and provides the support/help to his students. Also, sounds like he may be racist. There's been many instances where my child  told me that he tends to always forgets to the pass out assignments/papers to just the minority kids in his class. And when they go ask for the paper he says "well there is no point to give them to you guys because you're not going to do it anyways." REALLY?? This is beyond unprofessional and upsetting to know that these kind of teacher "teach". Please parents be aware and help your children move class/teacher if they have this man as their science teacher. He needs to be let go as he is no use (unless you child is not a minority) he/she will be helped. Also my child was diagnosed with a learning disability and did need the help! Overall, most staff/teachers have been helpful with this process and I am thankful for all their hard work and dedication with my child's case. Please as parents advocate for your children and don't allow teachers like Wylam teach your children.
