    I brought my father to SC Advanced Dentistry who is 94 years old and a Veteran. His lower partial was broken and he needed some help and guidance on how best to move forward. The staff and office were so accommodating and kind. They were so professional and went above and beyond to assist with my father and his needs. Dr. Kelly Smudde was amazing and very informative and understanding of my fathers position and who is on a fixed budget. Everyone from Carol, Mardi and Theresa were amazing and can't thank them enough for making my father so comfortable and respected. Thank you again SC Advanced Dentistry for everything. My family and I will continue to use you for all of our dental needs. Cheers, here's to the best Dentistry in Santa Clarita.

    Perhaps not many of us love to go to the dentist, but I really hate it. Santa Clarita Advanced Dentistry has always been so kind to me and worked hard to address my fear and trembling! This past visit, Dr. Ryan and Victoria were just an amazing team, doing everything possible to keep me comfortable and move through the procedures as quickly and compassionately as they could. Thank you to both of you and the entire team!

    I wish to make a complaint about the way my billing was handled . I was told by Sierra that my dentist appt 6 months ago was denied because I wasnt covered. She said they submit claims based on SS# however when I called my dental insurance I was told they do not process by SS# but by the member ID and group number. I had asked Sierra if the card I provided her matched what they billed under 6 months ago and she told me it didnt matter. Well after I had spent my time on the phone with insurance twice & calling Sierra back she said it didnt matter that I had a reference number to give her- She was now on the phone with my insurance. I am in customer service and I would have thought she would have apologized and offered to call my insurance instead of telling me I had to . This is not how patients should be treated especially ones that have been going to this dentist for the past 15.+ years!

    I just received a bill for services received TWO YEARS ago! They stated they moved to a different computer software and are slowly moving balance discrepancies over from that long ago. I can understand if it was thousands of dollars, but it was for a fluoride treatment. Totally unprofessional to bill 2 years later for accounting mistakes made on their end. This is not the first billing issue we have had with them. Their service is great, but beware of their billing and know your coverage. We tell them each time we are there that we pay 10% of the charges with our insurance, but they make us pay 50% because "their computer software states that amount". Then once they get the insurance payment, they keep the over payment and refuse to let us know. We only are made aware the next time we go in in 6 months and at that time they do not issue a refund, only will apply it to future charges. Be very cautious about this place. I have been going there for over 25 years and in the past 8 years every visit has been sketchy with the billing and seems like its going down hill. The owners (Drs Smudde) are rarely there anymore or maybe they have sold to someone else like private equity.
