It's very beautiful and the staff are amazing especially Michelle and Kevin they made us feel like family even through dealing with our loss and didn't make it feel like it was just a business.

This was my family's first experience with working with a mortuary, and we didn't know what to expect. We were feeling overwhelmed before walking into the doors of Bayside Community Mortuary. We cannot thank Michelle and Kevin enough for their empathy, kind hearts, patience, and all their efforts. They put us at ease right away. Michelle and Kevin helped us step by step through the whole process of taking care of our father and mother. We never felt that we were sitting through a sales pitch. Our family even had a special request of sending ashes to another state. They followed through without a problem. Michelle and Kevin, our family is grateful for the both of you. Michelle Price is very sweet, kind, helpful, and most of all for me. I had a very unexpected upsetting moment. I felt like I had physically lost control, but she patiently and kindly helped us through the situation. Michelle, I cant imagine doing what you do every day. God Bless You. Thank you so much.

Bayside provided our family with kindness and compassion during our difficult time. Christie was thoughtful and professional. She was thorough and secured a priest and the military honors which created a heart felt ceremony. She directly contributed to our families forever memory. Thank you Bayside.

Our experience with the Funeral home had its pros and cons, but at the end was a good one. The funeral arranger who took charge of our family, might need a bit more training on how to be empathetic. She talked a lot about her own personal life, and perhaps when a family is mourning a loss of a loved one it might be the last thing you want to hear (someone going on about their selves). More care and acknowledgment on how the funeral arranger reacts when asked about certain details and explanations on the funeral costs and less messing up on fees presented to families (Funeral arranger quoted different fees). Perhaps training on how to present fees to a family member as to not overwhelm them with all these "business fees". We lost our family member during strict COVID-19 restrictions and that had its own challenges and time restrains. We would have liked more direct instructions, or necessary updates from the funeral arranger as she would go on and on about the reasons why the need to reschedule- Just get to the point, be assertive in helping and make sure you project confidence that you can take care of funeral details. During our family members service, we were helped by another funeral arranger that was more seasoned and turned this process into a warm and positive experience. This other funeral arranger gave off a sense of leadership and trust that we needed from the start. Other than that, the funeral home is nicely kept, calm and a soothing atmosphere to say Goodbye.
