This is an excellent area for nature appreciation but there is very little to do. When I visited, the forestry interpretation boards were missing so there is little to no information on the area. This is one of several Sequoiadendron giganteum groves in California but this one is more personal. I do not recommend any large parties as there are only a few parking spots and possibly one vault toilet, but it is usually locked up. Overall a nice place to see natures majesty but dont bring too many friends.

One of Californias gems. Must see. A glimpse of natures unique beauty that has been bestowed upon this place. Serenity ensues.

It's rare to be in a grove of trees of this statue. The hillside was washed in sunshine hitting the red bark of the Sequoias. Some stand alone, others in clusters. Next to a fallen tree some 2500+ feet long you get a perspective. The whole forest around it is changing but this grove is living history. Lovely paced path, small and separate picnic area, pilot and handicap accessible. Currently there are no interpretive signs.
