Excellent experience working with Jovie to find an after-school nanny. We worked with Caroline and SHE. WAS. AMAZING! She handled all of our questions and concerns with an amazing level of grace and kindness. She gets it. And she found the right person for the job. 10/10 recommend! I really cannot say enough about the exceptional service.

College Sitters is a great company to work for. They ensure that families are matched with sitters compatible to the needs of the children and the personality of the sitter. I have never had a negative experience with any of the families Ive met through College Sitters. The company gives families the peace of mind to know that the sitter they hired has been throughly screened and their children are safe. And gives sitters the peace of mind to know exactly what is expected of them at each home by providing detailed information on the familys routine, any allergies, or other special requests from the family.

I had a very bad incident with one of their respites named Sarah D. (Formally known as Sarah F.) And even a WORSE experience from their director Debbie Lou!!!! What happened is that I left my 4 years old with Sarah to attend a very important meeting. When I got back home I backed up and was trying to park my car in the garage as my usual. The next thing I saw was my 4 years old opening the door from the house to the garage and running toward the car, if it wasn't for my backup camera (knowing that I drive an SUV and it was already dark outside), I would have run my own child over, who was supposed to be watched and fully supervised by Sarah. Nobody showed after him to the point that I thought she left and asked my daughter who was in the car with me to unbuckle and take her brother inside the house, (he was wearing home cloth while it was freezing cold outside). The moment my daughter got off the car Sarah showed up. When I asked her where was she, her answer was I thought you were in the garage. I told her that was unacceptable even if I was in the garage he should've been under her full supervision because that's why she's there for and that's what she is paid to do!!! Nothing else but to keep an eye on him. She apologized and quickly left the house. That was on Monday 10/28/2019. Today Friday 11/1/2019 I've recieved a call from Debbie Lou who's the director of College Nannies, Sitter, tutors Poway in reference to this incident. She said that Sarah told her the reason that she wasn't right after my child was that she was busy cleaning up the toys while her excuse to me with otherwise. (knowing that I always tell her not to and I don't even ask her to cook a meal or anything for my son so she wouldn't have any excuse for being distracted). Debbie Lou was very defensive of her employer. When I told her I would have run my child over because of her stupidity. Debbie starting defending her more and said that Sarah is NOT stupid. I was like what she's done is stupid!!! Because of her stupid choice and action I would've had run my own child over. She started arguing this point and I stood my ground saying If it was your child you wouldn't have said what you're saying now about Sarah and defending her this way!!!!! To make the matter even worse she's disrespectfully hung up on me while I was still talking!
That's my story with them as it happened. I am canceling my contract with them as I am intelligent enough to know what kind of business Debbie runs and the kind of people she hires!
