I hate to give a bad rating to a small store run by its proprietor, but the "jokes, magic, costumes, and rentals" here are sorely lacking. Ruth Cooper is the owner and although she is very nice, the store is filled with various packaged magic tricks and practical jokes that look like they were made in the 1970s.  Also, the store doesn't have enough "joke" stuff, so there is a wall of purses and miscellaneous non-joke stuff.  Maybe those purses have to do with the "costumes," but I don't think so. I guess if you live in Solvang, this is where you would go for your jokes and magic paraphenalia.  Otherwise, go online or to one of those magic stores in a mall; you'll find a much better selection elsewhere!
