Solvang Knives Etc...

Please be mindful of the amount of customers you receive that come from other countries whether its to visit or literally live here now because they crossed the border. I walked in to possibly the owner?, an older woman being a complete racist about how immigrants come into this country. Literally having this conversation with other people at her counter. I have been coming to Solvang for over 25 years- and I have never encountered such prejudice. Ill leave a 3 because the other lady who is usually here is always exceptionally nice to my family and I. Also, everyone is entitled to their opinion but your business should not be the location of a conversation like this ESPECIALLY when solvang is a place that welcomes and embraces all cultures to come visit. Response: You dont need to lie to keep up your image on your google reviews. I know what I heard. Everyone in my party heard it, and you were trying to whisper about it. Please dont lie. I am sure as hell not. Thanks.

Ended up taking a small vacation with my S/O out in Solvang. He absolutely enjoys looking for a new knife when we come across a store that has a large inventory. We stopped by on a Saturday and ended up talking to one of the owners, unfortunately I didn't catch her name, who was knowledgeable and absolutely wonderful. She gladly let us know about the high quality inventory they stock and the new knives that had come in. If you're looking for Benchmade she has one of the largest inventories we have ever come across. If you're ever in the Solvang area please check out this store if you're a collector. We were able to have our knives sharpened and we also purchased a red kershaw knife with a black blade. We will definitely come back when we are in the Solvang area again. Great service here. I got a knife and some other items while in here and the owner of the store helped me look through everything and answered all my questions very patiently.

I forget the name, but the employee that helped us out was fantastic, just as the store itself was. Incredibly pleased with our purchase. 4.5 years later, it was exactly what I remembered and wanted. I basically drove 2.5h just to shop here again. If you need a knife of any type or kitchen accessory and enjoy not being in a big-box store, this is still the best spot.

Huge selection & experienced customer service! Ended up buying a couple EDC without the ridiculous mark up. Great shop.
