Clean and quiet and located in a great area to walk around the town. You just leave your room and youre in the heart of everything. We loved the little bakery that provides the breakfast.

Great location and clean rooms. The pillows are extremely flat, so bring your own pillows if you like some volume. The free continental breakfast place is directly across from the hotel. However, there was a long line to get in, so my husband and I drove out of Solvang for breakfast. Expect to stand in line for a while if you plan to eat breakfast on Saturday morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

The hotel rooms are older but always clean. The cottages are newer so I prefer to stay in those although they generally only have one bed. The hotel has a nice pool and is always nicely maintained. The best part of staying at this hotel is the breakfast thats included. You walk across the street to Olsens Bakery and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Nearby activities: Solvang is the cutest little Danish town that is fun to walk around. There are many wonderful bakeries and restaurants in town that we enjoy going to every time were in town. Theres also a theatre worth attending, the Santa Ynez mission, an awesome one of a kind motorcycle museum, a Danish museum which is inside a fabulous store plus the many unique businesses. This is a renowned region for wine so there are many wineries in the area along with tasting rooms in downtown Solvang. Safety: Solvang, the town and this hotel are very safe. We have never had a problem of any kind while staying here or in Solvang. Walkability: This hotel is right in the middle of town so once you arrive you park your car and walk around town.
