        Everyone was so kind and the wine tasting was great! Our hotel recommended L&L and we are so glad we listened.

        Beware of buying a single glass of wine. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and we were charged $20 PER GLASS PLUS TAX. The whole bottle only costs $22. The hostess said we should have asked the price before she poured. The price per glass was not written on the menu. I hate when some dive has to resort to crooked practices. I would never go there again. BEWARE!

      Hi Kathy, we're sorry to hear you were disappointed. It's a bit of an odd area for us. We want our guests to enjoy tasting all of our estate wines so we have never offered "by the glass". When things slowed down during Covid and guests began to ask, we figured we'd accommodate them at the same price as a wine tasting, since a wine tasting quantity is the same amount of a glass of wine - 6 tastes at one ounce is 6 ounces. So we don't post an official "by the glass" offering since it's not something we offer officially, again unless it is very slow and the guest is absolutely not interested in a tasting. We agree that we should have let you know that the glass price is the same as the posted tasting price and we will address that in training. Again, we are not happy that we disappointed you and hope you enjoyed your time in Solvang otherwise.
