Race just installed the service for me 2 days ago (Dec 13th) and they already sent me a bill (Dec 15th) for $129, in the account statement detail, it says that my cycle starts from Dec 1st. Charging for 2 weeks of a service that I did not receive? When I called and spoke to an agent, he told me that it was normal to charge in advance, I am canceling my service and I am going to get Starlink,

I have had race for over a year now in Williams, CA. All I can say is that their service has been rock solid this whole time.

My neighborhood just had your company come and install underground utilities that involved digging up my lawn, digging up my decorative rock hardscaping and cutting the sidewalks in front of my two driveways. The final result after the install is hydraulic oil stained asphalt, sidewalks, gutters, and rocks. I am missing several rocks in my decorative yard. My lawn is dry and wilting, and there are still small holes where it was dug up. The largest section of lawn that was removed was approximately 2 feet x 4 feet. I had to remove this section of lawn after the construction crew finished due to the lawn being extremely sunken and dangerous as it was a tripping hazard. I added three 5 gallon buckets full of dirt to get the lawn close to level. What happened to the missing dirt!? The sidewalk in front of both of my driveways has been cut open and refilled with asphalt instead of concrete. The utility company did repair a broken sprinkler but my neighbors still have broken sprinklers. I spend a lot of time and money keeping my yard manicured. I understand my lawn is destroyed and I will have to spend my time and money to restore it, I was told by the construction crew to over water my lawn to bring it back to life! It wasnt dead to start with, why am I paying for more water due to this company disrupting my lawn! I am beyond upset that my entire curb appeal has been damaged as a result of your companys work. I was guaranteed my home would be restored to pre-construction conditions. The oil stained concrete, rocks, and asphalt cannot be easily cleaned. There obviously was a large oil leak into the storm drain from your workers. I am just so disappointed every time I come home. All of my neighbors and friends comment and ask why my house was destroyed so much more than the rest of the neighborhood. I need immediate results. How can you help? Please contact me as soon as possible to resolve this.**** 6/15 update. The construction crew came back to my house after this post and my contact on the Race Communications website. They did pressure was the oil around the gutter. I still spend about 20 hours pressure washing all around my house afterwards. I am still missing rocks around my redwoods and now my trees are starting to die! I am beyond devastated and I cannot stress how poor the follow up has been from this ordeal. There has been zero attempt to compensate me for my time, supplies, missing yard hard scape and now dying trees. PROTEST THIS NEW UTILITY INSTALL IF IT REQUIRES INSTALL IN YOUR YARD!
