Hello Sabin,I hope that you are doing well. Thank you very much for taking the time to review us on Yelp and google. I wanted to reach out to you in person before i reply to your reviews online. Take the time to apologize to you and both of the moms. Im human, and I can definitely make mistakes, so some of the feedback made me aware that next time, I will not ever talk about myself in any way . Here are a few things that i wanted to share with you and the reason why i do a few things the way we do it and also to help with any miscommunication that might have happened and i apologize for that.-I had a chance to go back to all of our emails and texts and read conversations, and I only had asked once for the address to be sure, i do this with every single one of my brides the day before there wedding, because 2 times in the past the address on the contract and or address given to me by a bride, we went to on the day of her wedding ended up being the wrong one because they had decided to get ready some other place literally the day before there wedding and never updated us with that information both brides had ended up at either a friends place or hotel because they had a rehearsal dinner and got really drunk and forgot to let there vendors know and therefore we where late to getting to there new location and getting them ready on time. So for everyones sake, I confirm things with my brides one last time the day before the wedding day to be sure Jeanette and i go to the same address as our clients.-As far as me talking abt my self i apologize from the bottom of my heart at that time, I was having medical challenges with cancer at that time so it was really scary for me i truly felt comfortable with your moms they where both just really amazing and very sweet, we spoke about random topics with the moms making conversations, and because they are moms i am mom as well, i felt maybe they had great advise abt things in life i could take with me making small talk and i was definitely not trying to make it about my self in anyway im truly so very sorry sabin to you and both of the moms.Asking for reviews to soon:You were right. i should have waited a few weeks. I am truly very sorry that i asked you the next day because i felt super comfortable with you and your feed back on the day of your wedding was so so great from you that we felt it was ok but i am truly sorry that it bothered you i apologize and i will wait in the future for my brides a few weeks after to ask for reviews. As far as contract signing and all of that.This is Jeanette and mine "bread and butter" this is what we do for a living. In the past, i waited for brides for months to get back to me and held dates for them for so long they never ended up confirming us and so we lost out on other opportunities to work and book our selves with other brides and or jobs. So yes, I do ask before i reserve any dates for our brides to have a contract in place before moving forward, setting up trials or wedding day makeup and hair services. I apologize if I seemed pushy June- through August is a very very high wedding season for us I cant hold dates and Jeanette and I receive multiple inquiries for same dates whom ever sends us there contract and pays there deposit normally gets booked with us. We will not hold dates for clients who are not confirmed in one of those ways. I hope it makes sense. This is our only way of working and supporting our families for both Jeanette and I.Tips/gratuity:I apologize for being so direct asking for gratuity as ARTISTS normally its already written in the contract built in a set percentage of 20%, but Jeanette and I ask separately for that because we dont like to force our clients to a certain amount. Its standard 20% of the total in our industry. I remember sharing with you our venmos to so we keep that part separate both my co-worker and I are clear on when we receive any gratuity we share it.
