This review is not to put down the company itself because the work and programs it is associated with are actually really cool and critical, however, there are major issues with how management conducts itself that goes unaddressed. This is meant to give all future applicants and candidates seeking employment and establishing a career here a honest and fair warning of what to expect. The 5-star reviews are fabricated by management to maintain their image whenever they fall below a 4-star average and employees are incentivized by meritless raffle tickets to leave 5-star reviews. The 1, 2, 3 star reviews will tell you what you need to know about the companys true work environment. The company has big goals, however I cant imagine how it will achieve them with the current operations manager who could definitely benefit from both management training and anger management. He cant get his point across unless by yelling, threatening, or intimidating you. Im not sure why the company continues to protect him, although I documented every issue to HR, no efforts were made to improve the toxic environment and it actually got worse. He constantly harassed me, stalked me around the company and on my breaks, and carried out methods of constructive dismissal by limiting my work, ostracizing me from my supervisors and peers, and intensifying an already toxic and hostile environment until I finally left on my own. If you are a highly-motivated individual seeking room for progress, your dreams and spirit will only come here to die. Only thing keeping me were the classes I was taking with the community college they are partnered with. If anything, this company is a stepping stone as long as the operations manager is in charge. Get your experience, but you will never be respected, valued, or appreciated unless you benefit from the extreme nepotism present here. They fire people on a whim here. 4 months into the job, I ran into the quality control manager outside of work who turned out to be a creep toward women in and outside the workplace. He stole my dates phone and we later tracked it that night to his location. We found him in Burbank in his car, engine running, headlights on, blacked out. I drove him home and he put me in a chokehold. I broke out and gave him the two-piece, no biscuit. Then tucked him into bed. These are the loose screws running this organization. I hope the president and owner investigate their managements behavior and realize the hurt they put on their business. All machinist, technicians, and maintenance crew were the highlight of my experience: so friendly, supportive, and willing to teach.

Joke of a business. This is the definition of an American aerospace sweat shop. Management is incredibly unprofessional, rude, and predatory. If you're a respectable business, do not associate your time with this little league job shop. Production manager walks around likes he's the Hispanic Steve Jobs. Berates employees and new hires. If you disagree, you're always wrong, no matter how uneducated they are. **I never worked here, lol. The management response below believes that only the "new hires" are disgruntled.

LA Gauge is such a wonderful company to work for. They have bathrooms with showers in the back but are rarely needed because you don't even break a sweat with the A/C running all day. They have a full kitchen with a stovetop, 2 fridges, tables and chairs for the breakroom with A/C as well! They even have grills. Not too long ago the supervisors made hamburgers for everyone which were amazing! This week they're bringing an In-N-Out food truck for employee appreciation. I am so grateful to be working here. My coworkers are all great people to work with such great attitudes and always helpful when I ask questions, I wouldn't trade anyone of them if I could.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We are disappointed to read that your experience at LA Gauge was not always positive. One of our core company values is respecting others and that is something that management takes very seriously, and we always try to provide as much support as possible to all of our new hires to help them succeed.
