    A quaint cottage like hotel on the main road and close to amenities like Ross, gas station, cafes and restaurants. Room is decent and clean, and the hotel staff were all so pleasant and kind. Thank you to the manager, Victor for the warm welcome and hospitality! :) I only wished that we had variety for the breakfast box as it was pretty much the same items every day.

    As a business traveler, I rely on finding a clean and safe room for a night here and there on a moments notice. The Tarzana Inn accomplishes this and much, much more. In the heart of the Tarzana/Encino, this smaller, but perfectly located hotel isnt like the normal Marriott or Hilton I usually stay with as theres no restaurant or bar on location. Nevertheless, next door is a little cafe thats fantastic and many other great places within walking distance. During my first stay, I tried it deciding to save the $50-100 the mariott in Encino was charging . And Ive never stayed at the Marriott again. Great rooms and beds and even more important, a tremendous staff led by Vic, their manager who always seems to do the right thing. In a little early from a long drive from Scottsdale one time last month, Vic made sure I was able to get in earlier than check in for a well deserved nap. Sure I cant grab a beer at the bar downstairs, but as a business traveler looking for just a clean, great room for well under $200 in this great part of the San Fernando Valley, you wont stay any where else.

    We got into the hotel after checking in and I went into the shower. In the shower I found a surprise. There was a used condom in the shower. I immediately called the lobby and the guy came and said he could clean it. He didnt want to give us a new room. After I asked him to change the room a few times he changed it. I asked to talk to the manager and the worker blamed me that I was the one that left the condom there. He said that the manager would be there in the morning but now they told me the manager doesnt work on weekends and that he would call me in three days. Worst customer service ever
