Chan Dental

I found this office through Yelp, and made an appointment. I had a sore tooth, not hurting or pain, just sore. I went in, and staff was friendly enough, got in a room, and tech took x-rays. Dr. Chan came in, and said there was a sore spot inside the gums of the tooth in question. I said , ok, so what's wrong with it. He couldn't answer. He said it could be anything. I said, LOOK AT X-RAYS, WHAT DO YOU SEE?!!! He again said, he "couldn't really tell". So he sent me to an endodontist. They said it was a pocket of infection and tooth needed a root canal, since it was deep. Simple, why couldn't Dr. Chan say that? Oh but he made sure he sent his snooty financial person in to quote me on a crown even before he knew what was wrong. I got the root canal, and never heard back from Chan's office. I found another dentist to put crown in, for much less than he had quoted me. Dr. Chan was useless, inexperienced, and oblivious to my tooth issue. He came off as cocky, and arrogant and answered my questions as if I wasn't worth his time with my petty little tooth. Seriously, why did you even go into the medical field?

Got my filings replace and they did a wonderful job. I had a cavity that was larger than expected and Dr Chan and Lynette did a great job making it pain free! Couldn't be happier with the friendly and welcoming staff. I definitely recommend to my friends and family!
