I do not recommend letting a loved one stay at the Earlwood. The treatment our mother received there was unreal. Throughout her stay there she was ignored, not bathed regularly, & treated harshly. At one point a night nurse shoved a bedpan under her and left it there for hours. Our mother cried for several hours begging to have the bedpan removed and was ignored. This place is awful and we will not place a loved one there again.

Unfortunately for my 80 year old father, through his diminishing health, he had become physically dependent on morphine while be treated at Little Company, upon being transferred to the Earlwood, he was not given pain meds again for days, leaving him not only in excruciating pain, but also suffering from severe opioid withdrawals for days. When I brought up the fact that he was clearly suffering from severe opioid withdrawals, the nursing staff at Earlwood were oblivious to the symptoms. Its cruelty to make an 80 year old man dopesick.
