Inns of the Corps Mountain View

The staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast but good/fresh, and amenities were sufficient. For the price and the safety of being on base if you're considering this for a Joshua Tree visit start here vs. anything else in town. So much nicer and having the MCX/commissary minutes away is a huge plus. Rooms: The rooms were clean, spacious, and well attended to.

As far as a hotel goes, this one is pretty good. It's got decent views of the mountains, I rated 1 star on location because it's in 29 Palms USMC base. Not the best base. Though for those visiting, its quite accommodating and the rates aren't too bad. There's continental breakfast that's free and grills outside the patio in the back to use as well. Rooms were very clean but the walls are kind of thin. I was able to hear a child cough from another room. Though that's not the workers fault or anything, just how the building was made.

Beautiful new facility that has virtually everything I like in a hotel--clean, great room and bathroom layout, nice TV, fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, and Kuerig coffee maker. Breakfast is also included in room rate. Great value for the money. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

Stayed here for four days and it is an excellent base camp for Joshua Tree National Park. The rooms are spacious and clean. The front desk people are friendly, informative, and just helpful. Rooms: Stayed in a suite which was spacious and clean. Nearby activities: Joshua Tree National Park is so beautiful and a must do. Food & drinks: Had breakfast here every morning for 3 days and it was a great way to start our day.
