We were quite disappointed by the light pollution coming from the town. It's not as dark as we expected. You can't see the Milky way without equipment. We got the same view from 20 miles closer to Palm Springs. And the restrooms were locked at the site.

We went at night time there were some teenagers with loud music having a party. It was dark enough to see the stars.

It is recommended to watch the sunset at dusk, it is breathtakingly beautiful, the environment is quiet and clean, and it is about 30 minutes away from the city.
