Faces by Fern

All my life I have been embarrassed by my skin. After seeing Fern for a few years, I am happy to say today that I'm starting to like the way my skin looks. I don't have any acne, scars and dark spots are fading, and dare I say it looks like I have a glow! It's truly thanks to Fern and Elle who have taught me how to take care of my skin.

Went to Fern yesterday and had a lovely facial! I was looking for a small business to support, especially during thanksgiving weekend and Im so glad I found her! I feel refreshed after she got all the gunk out of my face. The bed was cozy and the room had great vibes, cant wait to come back soon!

I opened the call in a purposefully calm, kindred tone and said "Hi there My name is (male name), how are you Fern?" She replied with "Hi, WHO ARE YOU?" as if she doesn't have a skin business within operating hours. I replied with "prospective customer with an inquiry?" and her tone pretty much was still stirred, as if she didn't expect a man to call. We make money and have faces to maintain also. Instantly could tell she mostly has loyal female clients and could care less about a new possible male client. Advice: 1) Get a work phone, not a Google Voice number. That way you always sound ready for business when you answer a call. People are out to try your skin skills, not shake up your day. 2) Its "I don't offer that service, sorry about that." NEVER "I don't do that service so the answer is no". Last part was implied, certainly you knew.

I noticed a glow in my friends skin and asked her what she was doing. She introduced me to Faces by Fern. At my first visit I received the the signature facial. The results were visibly brighter and more smooth hydrated skin. I added some of Ferns products to my routine and felt like the results really lasted. On my second visit I added another enzyme peel and I will keep coming back! I love the way my skin looks and feels. Ferns studio is so serene and private. Its worth the drive to the valley for me.

Nice lady but she allows her cat into the treatment room which is quite unsanitary. Animals shouldnt be in the treatment room as they can bring a lot of bacteria and other contaminants. She touches surfaces with gloved hands and then returns to performing the facial (while skin is vulnerable from extractions or peels) without changing gloves.
