AGE mechanical was assigned my case by my insurance company to fix my heater, which was emitting a loud whistling sound whenever running. The technician arrived with a terrible attitude right off the bat, as if I was somehow wasting his time with this house call. He was up in the attic for less than two minutes before letting me know there was nothing he could do because the unit was covered under manufacturers warranty, that Id need to contact the manufacturer to cover a broken part. He claimed it was failed transformer Id need to get replaced. So I found myself another company to come out, and the new technician fixes the issue in 15 minute by adjusting some dials. He told me it was an easy fix and that no part needed to be replaced, manufacturer did not need to be contacted. AGEs technician didnt even do the bare minimum of his job. He either lied to get out of doing any real work or he just didnt know what hes doing. Services: Heating system maintenance, Thermostat repair

These people are either crooks or the most incompetent hvac servicemen of all time. AHS sent these guys to look at my AC. Technician checked the roof unit, said there was no issue there. Then checked my electrical panel and said problem was from the panel at my house and I need an electrician. When a separate electrician came (3 days later) he said the wire on my AC unit was physically disconnected, and the electrical panel at my apartment did work. How the technician missed a literal physical unwiring on the AC unit is beyond me. Any one assigned these guys from home warranty (cause I know no one will actually hire them off their reviews) do yourself a favor and call and plead with your warranty to assign you a different vendor

I just wanted to mention that I received excellent service from AGE Mechanical last week. I needed my AC replaced which I was not exactly thrilled about. I considered a few companies but AGE was both the most reasonably priced and they were able to get started on the work right away whereas a lot of other places I considered were unable to do the week for days or even weeks. Im glad I went with them. The replacement was not an easy job but they got everything done on time and their crew was great. My new unit is running perfectly and because I was so impressed with the work they did I decided to go ahead and have them do quarterly maintenance for me. I am so appreciative of their hard work.
