Last year I got a DUI and decided to hire Karthik from Shouse Law group to be my attorney. I am a current DACA recipient and having a DUI would have disqualified me from renewing my DACA/work permit. Despite the fact that I was double the legal limit, Karthik somehow magically got it reduced to a wet reckless. I will say that often times when dealing with the court system it’s a matter of luck in terms of what DA gets assigned to your case. In my particular case, the assigned DA was giving me hard time on getting a plea deal, but Karthik pushed through got my charge reduced to a wet reckless. Thanks again Karthik. My son had a stack of felony charges against him. He had a public defender who became angry if I tried to discuss the case. It was a long and dark process. Eventually I realized I needed real help I went to Shouse Law for help and then met Karthik Krishnan. At first I thought he was too good to be true. But I can tell you he is as great as everyone says. He was so communicative, explained everything clearly and came up with a strategy. He did every thing he said he would do. He worked hard with the Judge and the DA at the Pasadena courthouse and he managed to get my son a deal that seemed impossible prior to meeting him. He kept us up to date, made multiple visits to the jail to keep my son updated. If you find yourself in a difficult situation, I would very much encourage you to ask for Karthik’s help. The day before Christmas Eve of 2019, I was wrongfully accused and arrested for stealing merchandise at my employers business and the police wanted to charge me with a felony of embezzlement. It was the absolute worst day of my life. I thought my life was over. I felt like I had a terrible illness at one point because of how stressed and depressed I was. I talked to my cousin who is a lawyer and he recommended Karthik Krishnan from the Shouse Law Group. It was the absolute best decision I ever made. Karthik was extremely helpful and got working on my case immediately. He took over the whole thing and helped erase all of my stress and fear of having to face this court system all by myself. I remember the day of my court hearing at the Airport Courthouse, Karthik with his full expertise and lawyer skills, made the prosecutor look totally foolish in front of the judge. After the prosecutor kept delaying my case for some time, I almost decided to just throw in the towel and agree to any deals the prosecutor wanted because I was so stressed about the whole case. But Karthik did not give up that easy and he assured me to stay strong because he knew he could help drop the charges! Literally a week after he told me that, Karthik was ultimately able to reach a resolution that lead to the dismissal of the charges against me! It was the best news of my entire life. My family and I were so unbelievably happy that this nightmare was finally over all thanks to Karthik. I frequently refer friends to Leo Manalo at Shouse. He always has ready answers for any of my questions, his attention to detail is impeccable, and he clearly takes great pride in his work. I couldn’t recommend him more highly!
